Kentucky
If you are moving your household goods from your home to a new location within the state of Kentucky, your mover must be licensed by the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet, Division of Motor Carriers (KYTC). Licensed movers are subject to state laws and the Cabinet’s rules and regulations, which protect the consumer. Movers licensed by the KYTC must carry a minimum amount of cargo insurance and file a tariff which contains the rates charged for various moving services and is available to the public.

Massachusetts
