Complete waste of time booked shipment and their staff members are incompetent, particularly ' Lawrence Wilkson' who procced to mail the wrong email address wasting weeks of my time without have enough common sense to reply to the email chain we were speaking in.

He then had the cheek to blame the customer and send a series of shirty emails to the correct email address.

This is the worst company you can imagine. I moved from Los Angeles to Guatemala. They delayed the shipping and increased my costs. They didn’t provide an accurate listing of my household and included car with other goods in the same container, which wasn’t allowed. Because of their mistakes, my things couldn’t pass customs and had to be stored for months. They didn’t take responsability and I had to pay a fortune in storage. Also, they over valued everything in their lists, and customs charged taxes as if I was importing new items, and it was only my used household, which I’ve owned for over 30 years! It is unbelievable that such a big international company can do something like this. 131 packages were missing. Because of this, customs charged a fine, which they didn’t pay. How is it possible that they can get away with this? As a US citizen I feel unprotected by my government. Suing will cost me more than the fortune I had to pay. If you want to avoid many headaches do not hire this company! The service cost I include is what I was suposed to pay for 2 containers (although their surveyor estimated one, when he came home to see what I wanted to move). I paid over $45,000 MORE!! because of their mistakes. Unbelievable this things can happen! Unbelievable CFR Rinkens can get away with this! My things, as you can see on the pics, were moved, too, in awful conditions.

But in this case I simply had to. My experience with CFR has been nothing short of fantastic. Being a world away and trusting a company to move my vehicle was a scary thought for me but very quickly I was put at ease. Starting from asking for a quote at 10PM on a Saturday evening and getting a response, a very detailed response within minutes. And then a call from Joey, knowledgeable chap, shortly there after. From that point forward I was kept up to date and vehicle arrived to me about a week earlier than expected..most importantly in the exact same condition. This loading system they use is something all companies should do. Big thank you to all that helped me at CFR and no doubt I will use them again and again.

The quote was great and 20% cheaper than other vendors. The result was horrific. Collection was not in time, the shipment was delayed for more than 1 month. Most of my stuff was damaged and the communication went down after I complained serveral of times. The insurance had denied a compensation as per CFR. My car was send to Germany seperatly by mistake. It was not just a disaster it was a pain in the A**!! If I’d known it would be so complicated I’d sold everything and bought it new, while I end up doing it anyways.. Thanks CFR to all the emotinal stress and money loss I had to go trough!! John.

Move size: 2 Bedroom Home Service cost: $12900

I moved from Los Angeles to Guatemala and hired this company for a complete door to door service. They send wrong listings, didn't filled out correctly the bill of lading, hired an also inept partner for the Guatemalan segment. It took almost a year to fix the mistakes, and they in the end they disappeared, and didn't deliver my household. I had to pay to another company to do so. Most of my things were severely damaged, because they weren't properly packed. Please do not consider moving with them, by no means. They are irresponsible, inept and dishonest. If I could leave minus 100 stars feedback, I would. Government should close this company.

Move size: 4 Bedroom Home Service cost: $16481

I am very disappointed this is the second Import I have done with CFR. We had issues on the first one so I asked for advice on how to make sure the second one went better. I was told how to destination the shipment to make it easier and cheaper. The result was the opposite. CFR missed the delivery and I paid storage costs for their mistake. Also the local costs went up by 3 fold on a smaller container thanks to their suggested structure of the shipment. I will never use them again.

Move size: Partial Move Service cost: $2138

It's been 7 months now since my car was picked up in my international move. I hope it will be delivered tomorrow, can't believe I am still naive enough to actually believe it will be, but I do.

The quote I received turned out to not be correct in the end, I was asked to pay 270% of the quoted fees at my destination, I refused and we reached some sort of an agreement where I might get some of it credited. I am not holding my breath until that money actually shows up on my account though.

Furthermore, the days leading up to them collecting the car at our home outside of Seattle, I called and asked when pick up was going to happen. I was to be contacted by the person to come pick it up, sounded good but no one ever contacted me. The very day before, I called for the umpteenth time to check and we managed to find out that their guy wasn't going to be able to pick up the truck after all. Panic set in as we were leaving the country, they did manage to find another person to pick up the car, but I am 100% convinced that there wouldn't have been anyone there before our flight if I hadn't kept calling them to check. They had zero clue that there was an issue even.

Communication wise, I feel that I am forced to drag every tiny bit of information out of them and interestingly enough, I have such impeccable timing that just about every time I ask for updates, they were "just writing me about the updates", incredible.

They claim that services were delayed due to port congestions and corona pandemic. Sounds plausible, except the fact that we shipped a 40 ft container with our household goods just a couple of days before sending the truck with CFR. Our household goods arrived 6 months ago...

Cost: 2 stars but don't trust their quotes for agent fees on the other side! Mine were taken completely out of thin air.
