VS Movers

We use 2 trips and storage services. The first trip and the storage was fine. However, the 2nd trip from the storage to the new place was a disaster.

We agreed on the time of 1130, and the mover only showed up at 1330. I..n between, we call and sent Whatsapp, but no feedback nor update. When the mover arrived at 1330, I found out they took the wrong furniture to us. They took the wrong furniture back and came back at 1730, in between nobody contact me, I need to keep calling, and the office couldn't get me an answer of the arrival time nor an apology. Hello, Bryan, I've never got a message or a call from you, I hope you are still well.

Poor service, poor communication, poor management. I will never recommend vs mover.

We have recently engaged VS Movers and Logistics (“VS”) for our house moving. Upon doing research and having discussion with the team (including Eugene and Ong) at VS, we have decided to use their services because they provided us with the assurance that our belongings (including furniture and fixtures) will be well taken care and any damages will be minimized during the moving process based on their professional experience and expertise. If there is any damage caused, they will either repair it or make a reasonable compensation.



However, on the actual moving day, we were shocked that that their movers were late for half a day (more than 4 hours) as the original agreed time was between 9 and 10 am. In addition, we had to constantly checked with them to find out about their arrival time.

When the movers arrived, they exhibited a poor service attitude with slow progress of moving the items and chatted casually with laughter among themselves. They didn’t also bring sufficient wrapping materials for the protection of the furniture and fixtures. As a result, they have skipped wrapping some of the moving items. Furthermore, I and my wife had to help them to do the wrapping personally as they were already behind schedule.

Upon reaching the new place, the movers didn’t keep and carry the items properly. For example, they had dragged the items or even bent the items forcefully when moving the items. Consequently, there were items being damaged severely (including the mattress, sofa, etc.). When this incident happened, we provided the feedback to VS immediately and they didn’t respond to us until the moving was completed.

In the process of discussing the damages with the team at VS, they became very defensive about it and claimed that there are bound to be damages when items were moved. We were very disappointed as it was very different from the assurance that they’ve provided to us at the earlier times. However, our intention is to resolve this matter peacefully so we regularly followed up with them since the incident which has happened for more than a month.

We were dismayed by their slow responsiveness on handling this matter and our feedback. Till to-date, there is still no response or resolution from them despite our multiple times follow up with them. We hope they will value customers’ feedback and this review will be helpful for others when making a decision of engaging a suitable mover.

After receiving a quote and confirming, we proceeded to choose VS movers. On the day of the move, we encountered many issues with this mover. All the issues are stated below. All in all, this is a really bad experience and would not recommend to anyone if you’re moving house. When confronted, they gave attitude and by the end of the day, things were not done but they complained saying that it is 6pm and they want to go home.

1. Bed head torn. (The Movers were not careful and did not inform us, we saw it and confronted them about it.)

2. Bed Frame unable to move to my bedroom due to it being unable to

dismantle despite the crew promising that it can be dismantled and

moved. Thereafter so many difficulties that cannot be dismantled, I

was told to dispose of it. Now, my mattress on the ground.

3. Floor standing light did not fix back due to being unable to find

the screw after dismantling. (They dismantled it for easy movement, but did not inform us where is the screw and did not fix it back upon delivery.)

4. Fridge was being scratched during moving. (Again, did not have the decency to let us know, we found it out on our own.)

5. Extra charges of $100 just to shift the cartons to the bedroom but

did not sort out based on the label. (Example bedroom 1, bedroom 2,

etc,,) I was told by one of your crew mentioned by right cartons only

just push inside/ outside the unit). I have no choice but to agree at

that point of time but unwillingly. (At this point, the money is not even the issue, what the problem is, is that they did not even give satisfactory service even when we agreed to pay more than what’s expected. No service excellence in the things they do.)
