Upscale Auto Transport

On 6/10/2019 I created a ship order to move an auto from Chicago to Madison WI for $250 and the car was available as of that date. On 6/19/2019 (the 8th business day) I emailed a cancellation notice. I was called on 6/20/2019 saying there was a driver available. I had submitted a $100 deposit on 6/10/2019 and an immediate transaction was pending on my credit card. I should receive a $60 refund according to their terms, but nothing has happened to date. This company is a rip-off.

These guys are the real deal. I've heard of Upscale several times from friends that have used them in the past. This past week myself along with several friends decided to head down south to Miami to be part Cars & Coffee Drive. We ended up shipping several exotics and super cars to do the drive from Miami FL to west palm beach FL. Needless to say the whole transition went perfect. They have an incredible staff and drivers. I will be sure to use them again whenever my toys need to be shipped as well as recommending them whenever possible.

Move size: Commercial Move Service cost: $850

Kristina was in charge of my move. She originally told me I had to pay a $400 deposit and then changed it to $450. I should’ve used another company then, but I still trusted them. Well upon delivery she told me the $450 wasn’t included in the delivery price. I had to pay a total of $1450, and then she told me I would get $350 back. I’ve been texting and calling, and she finally texted and said it should be in my account in 2/3 days. It’s been 8 days and she won’t return my calls or texts and there’s no refund in my account. DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY!!! THEY ARE SCAMMERS AND LIARS!!!! STAY AWAY!!!!

Upscale auto transport was ok for me when moving to Louisiana. But moving from Louisiana to WA., we felt, in the most figurative sense of the word "raped". The 2 movers drove our car to the moving van. They smoked in it and threw things in the from seat to the back, breaking things. They stole several things. (the subcontractor was ProLogistics). And ProLogistics charged us $200 more than agreed upon with Upscale Auto. We had to agree because our airline tickets were for the next day. Also, they damaged front grill. We were not looking for such things. We felt stupid and cheated.
I called them. No response.

Service cost: $4200

Transport was scheduled two and 1/2 months ahead of time. Car was not picked up on time. Had to have another person arrange to be there 2 days later due to our flight schedule. Contacted Upscale within a week. for return of deposit, since deliverer collected the full amount. Someone was going to call and never did. Two weeks of calls and no return of calls or deposit. Very upsetting. Will not use this company again. Everyone there is to busy to communicate.

I would verify with other companies before I committed to this company. This company promised me the price and delivery date would not change. The price remained the same but the delivery date changed 3 times constituting me having to change my work schedule on 3 different occasions. I was told the car would be picked up on January 15 but it wasn't picked up from the Lexus dealer until the evening of the 17th. Every time I called Upscale Transport I had to leave a voicemail which was never returned or if I spoke with someone they would state I would receive a return phone call which I never would. Upscale Transport continuously gave me the run around and did not deliver upon their promise. They continuously blamed everything on the driver they hired. If you want good customer service and your car to arrive on the time frame promised research another company.

I recently moved from Washington, DC to Pensacola and contracted with a transport company based in Pensacola to ship my car. The agent was very nice and personable and checked in periodically as drivers were available. But I was constrained by the fact that my daughter needed the car for work so I had to stick with the agreed upon date of Jun 29. However, the day before the car was supposed to be picked up, the company called to say there was no driver available for the agreed upon pick up date. They only thing he could offer was a pick up the following Monday with delivery on the Saturday 5 days later. I try to be flexible but I was expecting family on July 3 and desperately need my car. The dispatcher and driver called me to try and work things out, but nothing better than a Monday pickup and Saturday. In addition, suddenly the rate increased by $100. So added to the upset in my plans, it was now more expensive. Needless to say, I cancelled with that company!!

I was very upset!! I realized I should have had a Plan B. So I reserved a car for the week, and started calling other transport companies. Found a very nice one but still with a Monday pick up and Saturday delivery. Then I came across an old email from Upscale Auto Transport, called them, spoke with CARLY, and explained what had happened. CARLY said she could and would help.

To make a long story short, IN 3 HOURS, CARLY DID WHAT OTHERS HAD NOT BEEN ABLE TO DO IN 10 DAYS. TWO AND ONE HALF HOURS AFTER I CALLED, CARLY CALLED AND SAID SHE HAD A DRIVER WITH A PICK UP THE NEXT DAY AND DELIVERY JULY 3. THIRTY MINUTES LATER THE DRIVER CALLED MY DAUGHTER TO ARRANGE PICK UP FOR THE NEXT DAY.

NOT ONLY DID THE PICK UP TAKE PLACE ON SCHEDULE, THE QUOTE WAS LESS THAN ALL THE OTHER COMPANIES. IN ADDITION, THE DRIVER ARRIVED JULY 2, A FULL 12 HOURS AHEAD OF THE JULY 3 SCHEDULE. SAVED MY WEEK!!

I am so grateful to Upscale and if I ever have to ship a car, I will first and only call Upscale and Carly!!

I arranged for my car pickup in Ventura, CA for a transport to Granite Bay, CA (400 miles) for $400. The day prior to the scheduled pick-up I received a call from Jackie S. who stated my car could be picked up that day for an extra $50. I told her I did not need the car a day early and the dealer did not have it prepped anyway. Told her the date scheduled was OK, which was a Friday. When I called her on Friday to confirm she stated the car would be picked-up the next day. When no one picked the car up on Saturday and Upscale is closed, I left a message. No call. I finally spoke with the driver the following Tuesday and he stated he would pick the car up on Wednesday. I wrote Jackie to make certain there was a problem with the representation and to make sure they were not going to charge the extra $50. No response. My car is finally being transported today, Thursday, and the price is $450. I contacted another transporter and they stated she probably did not realize the pick-up location is 74 miles off the interstate and that would cost more than if it were a direct route. Very unprofessional and I will never use these Upscale again!
