Responsive, professional, and completely customer-focused-those are just a few words that describe my moving experience with Swift Movers LLC! About a month before my move, I filled out the online estimate and received a quick response from Andrea. She also assisted me in securing my preferred date and time. Moving day worked like clockwork. Walter and his crew arrived on schedule and had our apartment packed out in record time. Once they arrived at our new place, the crew went into serious overdrive and ensured that all furniture and boxes were properly placed. And, they managed three flights of stairs with ease. I am glad that my family and I have found movers we will use again in the future!

Service cost: $567

Our appointment was scheduled months in advance and even followed up the week prior to moving. All was good(so I was told); I was also due to give birth any day so I really need assurance that everything would be taken care of in case I had the baby during the time of our move. Low and behold I had the baby and was to be discharged the day of the move. Well, our moving time came and went w/ no show. They waited until after our expected time to call and say that they were sorry but they wouldn't be able to make it today and could we reschedule? really? After going back and forth(explaining my situation) they were finally able to round some people up to get our stuff moved. We will not be using them again nor would I recommend them. They showed true unprofessionalism by waiting until after our expected move date/time to call and try to cancel.

Service cost: $600

Swift Movers was hired by First Call Movers to move us from Pa to Florida. The original estimate was for $4144.00. The movers were 4 hours late arriving, within20 minutes of their arrival one of the movers was taking apart our entertainment center and dropped the bridge which weighed around 60 lbs. Once the truck was packed the movers refused to leave until they were tipped a min of $400.00 for their good work which included breaking of furniture, during the whole time of the pick up I was on the telephone with First call movers complaining about the many problems we were having with the Swift employees.
The whole attitude of the First Call representative was that there part was completed.
Upon receiving our belongings we had several broken pieces, several things that were lost and a few things that had been unpacked and were ringing wet.
Swift Movers compensated us $150.00 saying that we should have had extra insurance as you expect  these things when you move and all of our belongings were over 5 years old and had no value.
I filed a complaint with USDOT,but would not recommend either of these companies

After long consideration I decided to sell my home and found myself stuck when I didn’t have a moving company in line. I asked one of my co-workers who had just moved and she referred me to Swift Movers and they were absolutely wonderful. They were very prompt in returning my calls and sent several reminders on my upcoming move. On the day of my move the supervisor explained the process and the contract to me. He was very thorough and patient. All of the movers were groomed and very well maintained. Once we arrived to my new home the movers unwrapped all of my furniture pieces and made sure nothing was damaged. They also help me setup my bedroom set and my dining room table.
 
I have been blown away with the topnotch moving service I received. I don’t like moving because it’s a hassle but when you have movers that you can trust and rely on; the process is so much easier and less complicating.
 
I will definitely continue to refer and use Swift Movers. I’m very happy my move was fast, easy, and inexpensive.
