I have to admit, I was nervous going into this move. Partially because moving is scary and partially because I was arranging a move for my sister in-law. I spoke with Jacob and he helped put my mind to ease. The move was from where she lived in VA. Beach back up to Springfield. Not being there for the packing and loading made it even more scary but Jacob's confidence helped put me at ease. The truck showed up to load early, packed and loaded ahead of schedule. Their arrival here was the first chance I got to see the team in action. Quite impressive. They were polite, professional and worked harder than anyone could ask for. Everything made it in tact, the boxes were well packed and we really love the fact that all materials were included in the price. No nickle and dimming me as they were loading. (had that happen before with one of the larger companies)
The final price came right in at the $5,500 he quoted me. Worth every penny. Thanks so much to Jacob and his crew, they made a potential stressful situation easy.

We recently used Route1 Movers for a client and relative move. The experience was absolutely stress free.
Jacob and his crew arrived on time, packed and loaded the house and moved it to multiple drop locations as planned. Route1 movers crew were friendly and very respectful of the premises and the items being moved. There was zero damage. Not so much as a scratch on any item.

One other amazing thing that is unusual for moving companies is that Route1 Movers estimate was exactly what the end invoice charged. Many movers will give you a low ball estimate and then on the actual day of the move will charge you far more than the estimate. If it were possible to give MORE than 5 Stars, I would give Route 1 Movers: Jacob and his team 10 STARS! They are amazing! I have to say that my husband and I have moved around to many places with the Army and as Government Contractors as well-- and with our 33,000 pounds, Jacob and his team moved all of our furniture/emptied one house out and delivered to the new house--- everything without a scratch! Simply amazing. Jacob and his team were extremely polite, friendly and professional. We moved from North Stafford to South Stafford. Jacob and his team were punctual: Jacob and extremely well organized: everything flowed smoothly and quickly. We have extremely heavy, handmade German furniture, tons of crystal as well as professional display cabinets-- all moved without an issue! Route 1 Movers is an extraordinary company. I highly recommend them!

We were very pleased with the service we received from Jacob and his team during our relocation from Virginia to New Jersey. They performed exactly what we agreed upon and completed the move without incident or damage to belongings. The moving team was efficient, conscientious, friendly, cooperative and worked especially well with one another. Throughout the experience, Jacob communicated with us about each step of the moving process, which was particularly helpful in addressing any anxieties we might have had.

Jacob and his team did a great job for me when I needed to move my mom out of her apartment. Jacob was great about staying in contact with me leading up to the move and letting me know exactly what their plans were and what he would be doing. When they arrived on the morning of the move his team got right to work and got everything packed up on the truck in no time. They did an amazing job wrapping all the furniture with padded blankets and shrink wrap and protected all the glass doors with extra cardboard. Mom had a lot of nice china and crystal and Jacob packed all of that himself. Everything was packed in away that I didn't have to worry about it all. His team was great too. They were all very professional and very careful and respectful with everything they moved. If I ever have to plan a move in the future I'll definitely use Route 1 Movers. There's one thing I'd suggest though. If you want to hire him, lock the date in early. I almost waited too late and his schedule was almost full when I called him. Don't make that mistake. These guys are first class.

Happy to found Route 1 Movers!! Jacob is honest, highly professional, exhibiting such exceptional integrity who totally cares about me as his customer. His crew of Donald,Caleb, Brian, and Mr. Martinez were wonderful and new their jobs well. My move was complicated and one that I was not prepared for totally. They came in and got it done well. I recommend them to anyone planning a move. If I move again will definitely use them again. Like everything about this company's operation from the folks doing my move (honest!!), Cost , being early for move, moving equipment to do the job, accuracy in estimating cost of move.
