Quality Express Van Lines

I've filed complaints against Quality Express Van Lines with the FMCSA and BBB. They are not a moving company but a broker who will quote you a low price, take your deposit in the form of an ACH cause you can't dispute it like a credit card and you'll never hear from your loving and kind representative again. In my case John Williams, Deb Fox and Gina were the employees who lied and took our money and didn't deliver. How can you have so many positive reviews and only 3 FaceBook likes. Why is there a picture with your logo on a truck when you don't have trucks? Check the FMCSA website to get their information. They are brokers and have zero trucks. They also have moving companies that the subcontract to who are also doing shady business such as Best In Town Moving and Energy Moving. Be on the lookout for a call the day prior to your move with the usual "the movers truck broke down." When the moving companies get to your house (if they get to that point) they will walk in and say you have a lot of stuff and proceed to write a much higher estimate than originally quoted. Quality Express will not answer your phone calls and yes, they have caller ID so get ready for it. If you get a response it'll be via text. I am collecting statements from others who've been duped by Quality Express Van Lines and have contacted an attorney and several media story outlets o begin a class action lawsuit. Please feel free to contact me and provide your story so your monies can be recuperated and they can be put out of outed for the crooks they are. To date, they have 3 complaints filed with FMCSA and numerous negative complaints next to the fake 5 star reviews.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. They are fraudulent crooks.

I was quoted $2900, signed a contract, ended up with a $7900 bill. The sales rep will do or say anything to get you to sign their contract. They claim to have the lowest prices because they lie to get you to sign their contracts. You are a number for their yearly sales quota.

I spoke with the sales rep very specifically about my moving needs and was given an estimate that was $5,000 dollars off my final total. He kept telling me how hard he was working for me and how no one else could get this price.

Do not trust Quality Express Van Lines with your move.

They over estimated me 2x and used current events as an in to make more money off of me. I called them and explained my budget and they still overestimated me. Additionally, my movers showed up high and asked me for Percocet and vicodin. One scared my neighbors by flicking a pen knife at them. I called the brokers and they just wrote me off, offered no details on arrival time, told me it was my problem and I signed the contract.. never offered anything on their side that was a resolution Or compensation for such a terrible assignment. They are great at being kind until you sign the contract and then you are dealing with totally different personnel with negative attitudes towards the customer. They took advantage of someone in need looking to relocate due to COVID circumstances. Still waiting on my items to arrive, it has been 21 days out of the 30 that is written discretely on your contract.

I am writing this review to prevent others from going through what I experienced with this BOGUS company

First they misrepresented themselves as a moving company & they are actually a moving broker.

They stole my deposit money & never moved my belongings.

They were absolutely unprofessional & rude.

PLEASE Do Not Be Fooled by the initial representative who was as sweet as pie to get me to sign the contract & take my deposit money.

I was moving from NY to FL

I want to leave NY before the winter & the 2nd wave of this coronavirus, especially since my job is working remotely and I no longer need to go into Manhattan.

I contact Quality Express Van Lines from a Google search. Apparently I didn't do enough research. DO NOT believe good reviews, they are all FAKE!

If anyone else been Duped by these people and know ways to make claims against them please post and share. I am shocked in these CoVid19 times these heartless Scammers are ruthless in their schemes.

They gave me a move date of Monday, 9/7/20 which is labor day. I called on Friday 9/4/20 to confirm and was assured of my move and told I would receive a confirmation call 24hours in advance. I was told despite the holiday they are available. Btw, When I looked at the contract they gave me a 2 day window of 9/7/20 -9/8/20 which the the rep never mentioned when we originally draft the contract.

Needless to say Nobody called 24hrs

9/8/20 I called to confirm my move. I spoke with rep "Binah" who nastily told me the move dates on contract are NOT binding. She was extremely unprofessional and hung up the phone. I knew from her unprofessional tone that the calls were not monitored and there was a lack of appropriate supervision and training. I called back and she answered. I asked Binah if she hung up on me? she stated the phone disconnected. I requested to speak with a supervisor.

A woman name "Lisa" came on the call & stated she was a supervisor. Lisa was worst than Binah.

I asked lisa why was the contract no longer accessible on my email?

Why did it now say "congratulations on my 9/7/20 move" yet they NEVER moved me?

I asked lisa for the company's corporate information and she refused. I asked for the CEO, Owner, director information and she nastily made me know she was not giving me that information.

She claimed she was "dispatching drivers" & had no information regarding my move at that time. (This was a lie, they have no drivers) Instead of being honest so I could make other arrangements.

That evening a representative "George W." called from quality assurance. (He was worst) George told me they had no movers coming. Every time I asked to speak with a supervisor he told me he is the supervisor and there is no one else to speak with but him. He would talk over me and talk down to me. He would cut me off by putting me on hold. He yelled at me, rudely condescending, verbal abuse, etc.. He made it clear customer service did not matter since they made their money when I signed the contract and I gave them my card info.

I NEVER experienced anything like this. I can't even begin to detail the drama of it all because its to much to type. I am so traumatized by this experience. I immediately fell ill.

My landlord had a new tenant moving in on the 10th. I had to find a local mover & pay out my pocket AGAIN to put my things in a local storage in less than 24hours. Half my stuff I had to throw out.

I am still here in NY in a hotel a week later when I was suppose to be in Florida.

It would have been less aggravation & cheaper to pack my stuff in a uhaul and drive it down myself.

I am determined to file every claim & go to court to stop this fraud co. from taking advantage of anyone else.

I wouldn't wish this on my worst enemy.

Im not sure if the names they gave me are real.

I think it is because you could tell they didn't give a rats tail.

They were unbothered about customer reviews and complaints.

These Scammers swindle your deposit money & abandon you.

Im still in the process of trying to move to Florida.

I am so exhausted from this experience.

I am definitely going to exercise my rights as a consumer to prevent anyone else to be taken advantage of.

We have to speak up on matters like this or it will keep happening.

They are betting on us the victims to walk away burned by them.

As George the quality assurance rep said he has my money already.

Something has to be done

If anyone else knows other measures to report and this company please let it be known.

Im even thinking to take them to small claims court.

PLEASE. This is not a competitor leaving a 1-star review. This is a customer. I run a business that depends on reviews so I don't take lightly leaving a 1-star review. This company is the worst. This company represents itself as a mover when its 3rd party broker. At this very moment I am watching the driver unload our shipment from his 18-wheeler onto ANOTHER semi because he would not drive down a hard packed gravel and dirt road to unload the shipment in the agreed location. He refused. So our neighbors loaned us their hay-hauling semi truck so we could load the items on it and then drive it down the hard-packed gravel and dirt road to the drop off location. And of course he refused to load the shipment into the agreed location AFTER we transported it so we had to hire a crew to do it. Oh, did I say this 700 mile move cost a FORTUNE. This is a complete rip-off company. There is no communication AFTER you sign everything and NO point person to contact, even though they say there is. Obviously, during COVID we don't have the same options as usual and with everyone moving out of urban areas right now it's really hard to get a mover. But it's better to wait! than hire these scammers. I can't say enough bad things about this outfit. They will rip you off big time. DO NOT MAKE THE MISTAKE I DID!

We were moving from Minnesota to Texas. Our order move date was on 08/08/20. We had already verbally agreed upon a price quote for full service after video walkthrough with Quality Express Van Lines. After signing contract with them they referred us to their carrier Virgin Moving and Storage (sister moving company). However, on the day of pickup, Virgin Moving and Storage said they had to change price saying we have fancy items like TV console with fireplace, Grill, and Sofa. We already showed those items to them before confirming the price with them. We had no choice but to agree with their pricing sine we were near to our closing and moving date. While they moved our stuff into the truck, on the day itself they damaged our vinyl floor and broke patio table. They were loading items without putting protective material on the floor which was against our agreement.

Now on the delivery date while going through inventory list our stuffs were missing. They missed our master bed, furniture’s and damaged TV console, Grill, and Couch. TV console fireplace is not working, they broke the leg of the Grill and now Grill won’t light, and they ripped our sofa. They charged extra for handling those items saying fancy items and now all those items are damaged or won’t work.

Today is 10/19/20, and we still don’t have our missing items. We are tired of contacting them and every time we call Quality Express Van Lines they say let me talk to carrier and then get back to you. We don’t hear anything from them and their carrier /sister company(Virgin Moving and Storage). The truth about this moving company is – THIS IS WORST COMPANY TO CHOOSE do not trust them. We don’t recommend them. As per our contract with Quality Express Van Lines says BY FEDERAL LAW, THIS FORM MUST CONTAIN A FILLED-IN ESTIMATE OF THE COST OF A MOVE FOR WHICH THE MOVING COMPANY IS LIABLE FOR THE FULL (REPLACEMENT) VALUE OF YOUR GOODS but we have not received anything yet. We highly recommend that you consider another good company Virgin Moving and Storage is worst nightmare!
