Ocean Ridge Van Lines LLC

Last week we just moved into our new apartment. We hired Ocean Ridge Van Lines to assist us with the relocation. The crew got things done impressively fast. I assumed we were looking at 4-6 hours delays, but they showed up at 7am and had everything moved in to our new place well before noon. They helped us with furniture placements and putting together our flat-packs. They didn’t even charge too highly for this job. I was very impressed and still grateful to these amazing set of heroes in disguise!

Ocean Ridge Van Lines (a/k/a Pinto's Moving & Storage) made my elderly father's move from Maine to Florida a living hell. They're a moving broker that subcontracts with cheap carriers of household goods and vehicles. They have zero customer service and accountability. They never answer their phones and if they do, put you on endless holds with awful muzak. If you do manage to get them on the line, they give vague and inaccurate information. Their moving estimate was intentionally low and inaccurate to get my father's business. Instead of doing an in-home assessment, they made my father make a best guess on the number of boxes and furniture, and their weight and volume. When the subcontracted household goods carrier (Moving Solutions Van Lines) arrived, they increased the price by $3,300 and forced my father to pay $600 for overtime. Meanwhile, subcontractor Oliveira Express Car Delivery picked up my father's car. Ocean Ridge Van Lines quoted an estimated delivery date for both the car and household goods for 5 days later. My father's car was delivered 2 days late and the driver/owner charged him $50 more and demanded the $1,450 total in cash. Why cash? Because he was being sued by a lot of angry customers and needed the money. My father doesn't carry such cash around with him, so the driver settled for a check. When the truck with my father's household goods never arrived as expected, Ocean Ridge Van Lines neglected to call my father about the delay, nor did they give him a revised delivery date. Max Braxten of Ocean Ridge Van Lines was the customer service rep that sounded kind when he was trying to win my father's business, then avoided our calls when we were desperately trying to locate my father's belongings. After nearly a month of unanswered calls, endless phone holds, lies and inaccurate conflicting information from all the Ocean Ridge Van Lines staff (Max Braxten, Kevin, Mia, Joseph), their carrier Moving Solutions Van Lines finally arrived with my father's belongings. Again, the driver demanded cash or a post office money order, or else, they wouldn't unload the truck. Why? Because they had so many complaining customers who refused to pay them. The original moving estimate to transport my father’s household goods and car from Maine to Florida was for $6,953. The final cost ended up being $11,107.07. When I wrote a detailed letter of complaint to the company and mailed it to the address on their moving estimate, it was returned to me unopened. I also emailed the letter. When I asked Mia if they had received my email, she said that Gina Gonzalez, Ocean Ridge Van Lines' customer service supervisor, was looking into it. No such person ever contacted us. The address on their website is completely different and belongs to another company (property lessors) unrelated to movers. The few positive reviews on their website and elsewhere online are most likely fake, posted on or around the same time. A credit report search for Ocean Ridge Van Lines shows that the company was set up on 4/9/2021 by registered agent Jack Palmer Graham. No doubt it was done as a new front business for Pinto's Moving & Storage, which has a long history of negative reviews. Moving Solutions Van Lines, their household goods carrier, also has countless negative reviews, and I learned later that they'd been storing my father's things in New Jersey for weeks. When they finally decided to deliver, it took their driver less than 3 days. Meanwhile, my 80-year-old father had been waiting anxiously in his empty house, wondering if he'd ever see his belongings.

BEWARE: OCEAN RIDGE VAN LINES (A/K/A PINTO'S MOVING & STORAGE) ARE CROOKS. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

This was the best moving experience ever and all credits go to Ocean Ridge Van Lines LLC. It was smooth and effortless from the start to the end. The three movers that were sent from the company were so fast AND EFFICIENT. I didn't have to lift a finger and they were very careful with my things. They were all very personable and pleasant. From setting the appointment until the last item was dropped off it was smooth sailing and not to mention affordable and you get 3 guys to move you not 2. I highly recommend this company and will definitely be using them again. Thanks again.

It is hard to find movers who enjoy their jobs these days- not to talk of those who also let you enjoy the move. However, I found them in Ocean Ridge Van Lines. My last move with this moving company was unimaginable. I thought I would have the same odd experience I have with other moving companies but this time around it was a fun-filled and interesting move. There were many things wonderful about movers from this company but I was particularly amazed at the level of courtesy they demonstrated. As a matter of fact, I have never seen such courtesy in moving service and that is why I praise them for their services. I thank you guys for making my move one-of-a-kind and exceptional. I will hire you guys again.

I think Ocean Ridge Van Lines keeps providing such amazing services because they have a reputation to defend. I hired them a few times and they always provided me the best services. They were just as efficient as I remembered them each time. The movers were young, energetic men with sufficient experience. Their foreman was a very responsible person always having the client’s best interest at heart. The movers took no time in packing and loading all my stuffs. These men are just like machines. They always delivered on time and made sure my valuables traveled safely. I don’t see why I won’t praise them.

Ocean Ridge Van Lines impressed me with their professionalism and friendliness while carrying my items during my last move. They delivered my items safely and all were just on time as their agreement. They got to work immediately. They packed all my stuffs creatively and were very careful not to break anything. There was also a good communication with the company allowing my operations to run smoothly and giving me assurance on the service as per our agreement. This was a very honest and reliable service.

I would give these guys all the thanks if I could. I had only done local moves up to my last move with these guys. So when I made up my mind to move out of state I was very worried, especially about the move. I was recommended Ocean Ridge Van Lines by a friend who also moved out of the state. I couldn't be any happier with this company. From the first phone call with their sales rep all the way to the last furniture placed in my home, the entire move went smooth. They were fast and very respectful towards my belongings. These guys are the best, very highly recommended.

I have used Ocean Ridge Van Lines for two different moves. Recently I moved to an apartment. I didn’t find any single item damaged after they delivered everything. My things were handled with great care. They also listened to us when we told them how we wanted it done and they followed our instructions. They were quick to respond and flexible. I am satisfied and more with the valiant effort from these amazing movers. Thanks to them for their unfailing support and their effort.
