Don't you love it when experts enjoy doing their job? These guys are true professional movers and you can tell they enjoy their trade.

The guys were super friendly, didn't slow things down, and never complained. We've moved many times and there is always someone complaining about something. But not this time, the guys faced many difficulties and they handled them like nothing. You can tell it is not their first rodeo.

Great guys and great moving company!

P.S. They gave us a flat fee for the job (truck,gas, & mileage included) and the price didn't change. We literally paid exactly what we were quoted from the beginning...

Move size: 1 Bedroom Home Service cost: $1100

I will never, I mean never use this company again. What I will do is recommend this company to my worst enemies. There used to be a time when companies took great pride in their work and this company exemplified that they do not. Their service was horrible along with their attempt at customer service. My wife and I used this company on an interstate move and both sets of furniture, sentimental wedding gifts, bedding outfits, motorcycle and various items were ruined. Louis Montalvo, the owner along with his manager Gabriel are consummate liars. We were told by both that they would take care of our issues, as they were at fault for the damages to our property - only to witness a superb Whodini impression. That's right, they disappeared like a thief in the night. They even convinced their workers to do the same.

I may sound bitter because I am. I am truly disappointed in this company because the reviews read so well and we trusted them with our most prized possessions. We understand that people make mistakes, but to not have upper management reach out and inform us that a mistake was made is inexcusable.

Last thing, there was over $10k in damages and these WHODINIS had the audacity to say they only have to compensate us with $50 per item, of which they never paid. SHAME ON YOU!!

I recently hired Movers On Duty to help me move my delicate and expensive furniture to a new location, and I couldn't be happier with their service. From the initial consultation to the actual move, their team was professional, efficient, and extremely careful with my items. Gabriel, Delmar, and Luis helped with a local move from Germantown, MD to Damascus, MD. They helped move items from two separate apartments into an older single family home that had some challenges in terms of doors and walkways for fitting items. All three gentlemen were extremely professional, incredibly kind and friendly, very cautious while preparing furniture to move and while moving the furniture, and worked very efficiently. After moving items to the house they worked to ensure everything was exactly where we wanted it placed, put items back together that had to be disassembled to move, and did not leave until we were fully satisfied. I highly recommend Movers on Duty for your move. They are the best moving company that I have worked with, and whenever I move in the future I'll be looking forward to hiring the company again.

This was my first move in almost a decade and a half and the team at Movers On Duty were incredibly helpful, supportive, and patient as they supported me with packing up, moving, and unloading to my new home.

Paul did a great job managing the move and making sure the team on-site was aware of the situation and properly prepared to handle everything.

Delmar did a great job leading the team during the move and making sure that everything was addressed and handled as expected.

I should also note, that there was not a single new scratch on any of my furniture (my dog has done her share) and not a single wall was touched during the move.

Thank you all again for the support with this effort. There was no way this move was happening without your team.

I called on Wednesday about a Saturday move. I didn't receive a no and everything was broken down to me about what they would do and how many people would show up. Everyone was so kind and talked to me about what was being pack and how I wanted things pack, and where I wanted things to go.

EVERYONE on the team was professional and did not leave until I knew where everything was and answered any questions that I had.

AGAIN... awesome and I will be using this service again.

My experience with Movers On Duty was simply amazing. I found them after getting two very positive referrals from coworkers who also had wonderful experiences. From the very first contact, the Staff was courteous and understanding of my needs. I could really tell that they were experienced and understood the process and how my home inventory converted to the truck and person need. Everything fit perfectly (and quickly) into the two trucks that were sent to us. Not only was my quote accurate, but the movers moved so fast that they came finished FASTER than the original quote! I have never seen four men move more quickly in my entire life. And they were so friendly. My 4 years old son was a bit apprehensive about the move, but the men actually took the time to smile and play with him as they passed by. I would highly recommend these Movers to anyone making a local move. Their prices, work ethic, and friendliness are unbeatable in the industry.
