Inter-Moves SG, Global S.A was used to move from Costa Rica to Florida, after getting a written quote from them, there were a lot of hidden costs, charging extra for things that were beyond our control (brought too small of a vehicle & then charging for a 2nd trip), charging extra to move a safe; which we help load in the moving truck with paid workers, giving 1-day notice to deliver from the port because they expired a supposed 3-day limit in port & charged extra to deliver the next day (Saturday). The movers did not want to pack (packing was part of the written contract) they came completely unprepared (not enough packers, USED boxes & paper), insufficient wrapping paper/boxes and other materials (bubble-wrap, Styrofoam, etc), but charged for new material. We ended up packing most and purchasing a large amount of boxes & wrapping material to protect our move. From the beginning we had to be on top of movers telling them what was expected from them & even then they sidetracked some things. And the kicker at delivery was when they told us we had 2-hrs to offload the container and they ended up dumping the container on private property without consent & leaving there for 2 days to maximize their profits/trips. Inter-Moves SG Global S.A is not a professional moving company and very unscrupulous, we paid a lot of money and are not satisfied with the service they provided. This is not the first time we have moved internationally, but definitely it has been the worst. Jose Antonio Sueiras (the owner) comes across as a very helpful and "Cristian" person at first, but his only motivation is MONEY. He threaten that if I did not pay certain hidden costs he would return the HHG's back to Costa Rica. Mr. Sueiras and his entire company has demonstrated to be untrustworthy. Once he knows he has you tied up (schedule, has your goods, etc.), the fangs come out and he goes for blood. I DO NOT RECOMMEND this company. BEWARE!!.
