Thief

Hired them to move my car from Philadelphia to Oregon. Then they asked for $200 deposit, which is NEVER recommended. Then they gave me the runaround for a week or more, then asked for ANOTHER $190 deposit. Still no movement, so I fired them and asked for my deposits back. Not a word from them, and they still have my money. SCAMMERS.

Get It Done Transportation.

My son gave David Pein, the owner of Get it Done Transportation a $100.00 deposit in December 2014. The vehicle transporting my sons vehicle broke down. We tried contacting Mr Pein numerous times, through emails, his business phone and his cell phone to get information as to when my sons vehicle would be delivered. Mr Pein failed in locating another truck to deliver the vehicle. We located another transportation company at additional cost, and finally had the vehicle delivered to our home. He still has not returned my sons $100.00 deposit. We have tried contacting him numerous times and twice he stated the check was mailed. We never received it. I contacted him again, then he stated he needed our address again. Why would he need our address if the check was mailed? As of March 23, 2015 my son has not received his deposit back. We have contacted the Better Business Bureau .Mr Pein stated to the BBB that the $100.00 was a discount. This is a blatant lie, it was a deposit for a vehicle he never delivered. Mr Pein is both a liar and a thief. There are many other transportation companies, only pick Get It Done, if you want to be lied to and ripped off.

Automobile Transport.

David worked hard to get my business. The vehicle pick up was delayed several times from my end but he stayed involved to get me a transport when I was ready. David gave me a very fare "all in" price and promised a 5 day pick up window. I paid a total of $550.00 including a $150.00 deposit that was not cleared until I had a transport. Everything was clearly spelled out in the bid contract. When I finally gave the go ahead my car was picked up in Florida within 2 days on a Saturday morning and delivered to my location in Toledo by mid afternoon the following day. I had the ability to communicate with the shipper and the driver at any time I wished and was never put off. The transport equipment was new, clean and well maintained and the driver was professional and friendly. My vehicle arrived in perfect condition just like it was their own. In short I hired a pro to get a job done within a time frame and they performed better than my expectation. I would use them again without hesitation.

These guys suck!

This trucking simply sucks. Do not use them. They lie. Dennis Addesso is a total Bulls**ter. It took 3 weeks and $300 more to get my truck picked up. "The truck broke down" is a common theme. Just read other reviews. I truly wish I had checked up on them first.

Buyer beware… Book elsewhere- this place sucks!

My experience with Get It Done Transportation was awful. Do yourself a favor and book your transportation elsewhere- plenty of better options than this place. Poor service and communication, contract price not honored, agreed upon payment method not honored, overpayment not refunded have been the lowlights of my experience with this company/David Pein.

David Pein demonstrated very poor communication and is unresponsive to the point I think he is dodging my calls when he sees my number on caller id. We agreed on a price (in writing), and I gave a deposit in September to have my car shipped in November. My car went a day later than scheduled, but that did not bother me so much. What did bother me greatly was the fact David would not give me an exact time of my car’s departure which I was trying to plan around (packing and work) so it was very frustrating. He would not return my calls/emails. If/when he does answer the phone, he would ask if he could call me right back in 5 minutes and then never call back. I was left waiting and waiting until the evening of the day my car was scheduled to ship, and that is how/when I figured out my car would not be going on that scheduled day. Extremely poor service to leave somebody hanging like I was left- completely irresponsible and unprofessional not to call me back to say the shipment will actually be the following day vs. the scheduled day. No excuse not to keep me informed- customer service 101.

We had agreed when my car was delivered that the balance of the payment would be paid via credit card since I was not going to be in that state yet so I had a friend picking up the car in the other state. The driver of the truck (who was actually pretty nice and not affiliated with Get It Done Transportation) called me as he was dropping off the car to ask where the cash was since his records showed the drop off was, “cash on delivery”. I was very taken back by this little “surprise”. He held my car for literal ransom and asked if I could have my friends pay him? I would never ask someone to loan me $800, and who keeps $800 cash on hand? Called David multiple times- left voicemail with no return call. Against my better judgment, ended up sending the driver cash via PayPal. And guess what, the amount the driver requested was $51 more than my contract price.

I sent David an email marked “urgent” regarding delivery and the overpayment. He did call me that evening to say he’d call me the next day because he was not at his computer. There was no follow-up call from him the next day or any day since. Since the delivery of my car and the overpayment on November 23rd, I have been following up with David for my refund/credit of $51. It has been almost 3 weeks and I still have not been refunded the overcharge. I have sent David 5 emails, left him 3 voicemails, and have actually spoken to him a couple of times since the delivery on November 23rd to no avail. In fact, David advised me on Dec 1st, that he put the refund through and I should see the credit on my account on Weds or Thurs of that week (Dec 2nd or 3rd). Here it is Dec 12th and still no refund. My last contact was on Dec 9th when I left a voicemail and followed that up with an email. No response from David/Get It Done Transportation. Infuriating...

Car Delivered 8 Days Late, Broken Promises

Get it Done delivered my car eight days late and broke many of their promises to me in the process: In early June I got a quote from Get it Done to transport my car across the country. Their website states: "We guarantee all our quotes for 30 days. That doesn’t mean you have to ship within 30 days, but you do have to book within 30 days of receiving our quote to get our fixed-rate guarantee.” I did book within a few days of my quote, which was an all inclusive $1,290. The amount I ended up paying, including Get it Done's fee, was $1,640. Get it Done's website also states: "We never require a deposit. We will never have you pay a driver directly. You will not be charged until the driver picks up your car. Even then, your driver will not be paid until they deliver so they remain highly motivated to complete the task." However, I was forced to pay a $190 deposit. Still, I went with them because they told me they would make sure I got my car on July 2nd. Then, in late June, before my car was supposed to be picked up, I did not hear from them, and after trying to reach them for several days, I was told my car would be picked up a few days later than initially promised. But I was assured the car would still arrive on July 2nd. After two more days of trying to get in touch with them and not hearing anything, I was told that they needed to find me a new driver and that the car would now be delivered July 3rd or 4th. My car was not delivered July 3rd, or 4th, and I never heard from the driver. Every day, I tried to call Get it Done and ask them what was going on, and either they would not pick up or return my calls, or they would let me know that they would call me back and try to get the situation figured out. However, I never got any calls back and never got any information from them about what was getting "figured out." The next date they gave me for delivery was Monday, July 5th, and Tuesday the 6th at the very latest. When my car did not come at that time, they assured me it would come Wednesday July 7th. On Wednesday, when my car did not come, I was finally able to contact the driver myself, and was told that the car was expected to arrive over the weekend. Ultimately, my car was delivered to me July 10, and I was forced to pay the driver directly, despite Get it Done's promise that I would not personally be forced to pay the driver. Throughout the process, I was in active contact with Get it Done, communicating my concerns. I asked them repeatedly for what they could to make the situation right, and was never given any answers. Finally, upon receiving the car, I asked them for a refund due to their very late delivery and broken promises. They refused to acknowledge any wrongdoing on their part whatsoever, refused to refund me for the deposit I gave them, and called me a "bully." Further, they attempted to intimidate me into not opening a dispute with my credit card, falsely stating that for me to do so would be illegal. I am appalled at Get it Done. This has been the worst experience I have ever had dealing with any company.

Unprofessional dishonest liar!

Dennis Addesso of get it done stole my car, as of the writing of this complaint a police report has been filed with Austin police department on the case of grand theft auto. I used the website carship.com to request a shipping quote. Moments later I'm being contacted by different companies sending their quotes. Get it done asks me for the vehicle's information, the lot number, buyers name in other to produce an accurate quote. I sent him the information he requested, I look him up and red flags went flying. I immediately texted him to hold off on the pick up and that he should not send anyone to pick up my car and since no deposit has been he does not have authorization to pick up my car from the auction. I had everything arranged through another company that is reputable, I could sense the difference between the new company and this shady dude. The next morning this dude texts me asking for his fee, I thought he was trying to charge me a fee for sending in a quote so I just ignored him. I contacted the car auction to find out this criminal already went ahead and picked up my car without authorization. I called him and demanded that he return the car to the auction because another company already sent a driver to pick it up. He kept demanding for his fee of $140 before releasing the whereabouts of my car, I quickly advised that the car is equipped with real time GPS tracking and that I'll be reporting my car stolen. He sent me the information of another shady company (PamWay logistics llc) with russian dudes answering the phone and lying constantly about the whereabouts of my car. Once I got their information I called a guy named Joey (real name zoran kirovski) with thick Russian accent answered phone and said my car will be delivered next day morning and that I should wait for a call from the driver. The next morning my car nor the driver was no where onsite, I called them and they said they don't where the driver is and that they will call me back momentarily they never called. I called the driver and he said he was still in Alabama the original place where he picked up the car, and that he'll deliver it around 4pm in Texas which is another lie because you couldn't drive from Al to Tx in that amount of time. 4pm came and they switched the delivery to 8pm, 8pm came and they said next day noon. Next day noon and this crooks said 5pm, 5pm came and they said it'll be 8pm. I called my police department and filled a report. Meanwhile the broker that booked them said to me it is out of his hands and that he is like a travel agent if my flight got delayed I wouldn't be mad at the travel agent because there's nothing he can do. Still ongoing,I'll update later.

Scams

Over promised and under delivered.

Went with these guys as they provided a decent quote, but more importantly said they (Joe Hein) could pick up car the next day (Tuesday) from Dallas and delivered in Houston same day. Next day - no response, could not line it up.

The seller of the vehicle I was purchasing from was going out of town, but would be available on Saturday so I asked them to pick up the car on Saturday instead (on Tuesday), so they had 4 days to line something up and they agreed. Saturday comes around, could not find a driver to pick up the car.

Car is finally picked up on Sunday, and they assured me it would be dropped off in Houston on Sunday, and after some back and forth, turns out they would not be showing up on Sunday but Monday.

Driver shows up Monday, and tells me the remaining balance is $35 more than what Get It Done had quoted me, and refused to release the car until I paid. So I paid the extra and Get It Done told me on the phone they would reimburse me. They said the additional fee was to “find a driver sooner”, even though they had 4 days to locate a driver, after they originally said they could pick it up the next day.

Fast forward another 2 weeks, still no refund.

100% would not recommend these guys. Worst auto transport experience I’ve ever had.
