Can a moving company listing be removed from the site?
MyMovingReviews is a public website for reviews and ratings, and most of the included moving companies are listed by its community and visitors. As we want to protect the freedom of speech, we want to have customers’ reviews listed online for public reference. This is why listings cannot be removed from the site.
In rare occasions when there are duplicate listings of the same company, we merge those listings into one single listing and all reviews from both old listings will be listed under the new single listing.
If you own a moving company and your company is listed on MyMovingReviews, we recommend that you claim the listing so that you can manage it. Claiming a listing means that you will be able to update your information, add more info about your business and most importantly – publicly respond to customer reviews. You will also be able to contact the reviewers.

How can I change the address of my business location?
You can change the address of your business listing from your account. Log in to your business account and go the the change of address area to request an address change.
Please note that we may not update your address if the new address does not correspond to your company registration data, licensing data, or website information.
Can I add a second business location?
Currently we do not support multiple locations of a business in a given country. Please note that multiple business accounts for a business located in the same company will be combined in a single account with a single location. We recommend that you list your primary or your organization's headquarters location on your business listing.
If you have a business location in another country, then you will need to register and maintain a separate business account for that country.
How do areas (states) of operation work? Can I change them?
The states of operation of a business are listed on the public company profile. They are determined automatically by the reviews written for that business as well as the moving company address listed on the account. As you can change the address, currently you cannot change the states that are based on consumer reviews.

Posting review responses in www.mymovingreviews.com is very easy. If you are a moving company or if you represent a company, you can create a free account for your moving company from here:

All new registrations are manually approved by a moderator to ensure that the account is managed by the right person within your organization. Usually the approval process takes about 3-5 days. Once your account is approved, you can log in (from the top-right corner on the home page) into your account.
From the company administration panel you can see all reviews written under your company and directly post a response to every one of the reviews. You will also find some more information and help articles on how to respond to reviews more effectively in order to achieve better results.
Why do some reviews disappear from the site?
There are many reasons why a review may not visible on the website:
- The review does not comply with our Terms of Service.
- The review has been filtered by our system.
- The review has been written by a company employee.
- The review is not about an actual moving experience.
- The reviewer has submitted multiple moving reviews under the same company.
- The reviewer has requested the removal of the review.
- The reviewer has requested to update their original review.
- The review has been mistakenly written under another company’s name.
- The moving company has disputed the review and the dispute has been resolved in their favor.
- The reviewer has used a non-existent email address for the review activation.
- The reviewer has not activated the review by email.
- The review has been written by somebody other than the actual customer.

How do I dispute a moving review and in which cases?
In order to dispute a moving review, you need to be a registered moving company. If you are not yet registered (or you haven’t claimed your company’s profile yet), you can do it from here:

Please note that all company registrations are approved manually and it usually takes about a week or so to be approved. Once you have your log in details, you can sign in with your username and password and access your profile from here:
Once in your profile, go to the “Reviews” page from the right menu. In the reviews page, select the review in question and scroll down to the “Dispute this Review / Request Removal” section of the page.
Generally, we do not remove reviews on requests by moving companies. We do not provide an advertising option that includes removal of reviews. We will only take actions in the following rare occasions.
You may dispute a moving review if:
- The customer has reviewed a different moving company with a similar name, but has put the review under your company’s profile by mistake.
- You have indisputable evidence that this is not your company’s or your agent’s customer.
- The review contains abusive language and personal threats.
- The review is against our Terms of Service.
- This customer has submitted more than one review on your company.
- The review is not about a customer’s moving experience, but something else.
Please explain your arguments and any evidence/reasons you may have. Disputes are manually reviewed and are usually resolved within 30 days or less.
We recommend that you respond to all moving reviews by sharing your point of view. Let other visitors know that you care about your customers and you provide superior customer care.
