Do not make the mistake of engaging this company for your move. We engaged them to move a full container of personal belongings from India to France. We had to pay 15% more than they initially quoted, they sent a team of 7 persons that we had to house and feed for two days, none of the boxes with fragile items were labelled HANDLE WITH CARE, we paid for two wooden crates but none arrived at the source and only one at destination, 80% of precious crockery and of photo frames were shattered but the company will not take responsibility of this. They made us run around for two months sending photos, videos and claim forms to their insurance company - Demeter Asset Management, Hongkong only to say that we could not get any compensation because we had not insured the whole consignment. Yet their contract mentions that they have an insurance for damages of 60 US cents per pound packed. We have moved all our things twice before without any damage. This was unprecedented and their response totally unacceptable.

They are the worst company, I would not even turst them with my rubbish!

I moved from UK and my UK company partnered with them to handle situation in India. They have been rude, uncommunicative (just don't pick up the calls) and have never ever answered a single question from me properly in a professional manner. They charged me 11,000 rs for mysterious 'holding charges' and 'customs' (eventhough I have imported used toys and books of my child) and never gave me a reciept for it despite asking for a million times. They claimed that out of my shipment they did not recieve a box, but they did not inform me about it until after the shipment was delivered. They made their delivery guy lie to me that the box has been located and it's at chennai port so they will courier it to me. I even have a recording of the guy admitting to lieing so that I will sign the papers! They have been utterly unprofessional.

First off I want to say thanks to Manoj & Chitra. What is the minimum standard expectation to have from a company that ships your stuff across the world? If the expectation is just shipping door to door then I must say Emerald shipping did even more, the whole process taken care of whole heartedly as if it was their own items. The packing members took great care and all my stuff reached Sydney without hassle. As far as iam concerned, I would recommend Emerald Relocations team for any of your overseas household goods transfer.

I wouldn't recommend this agency as we had terrible experience. We shipped from England to Bangalore. Sales person was very well engaging and informative before sign the contract. After paying money there is no response. And with-out any notice or explanation they have delayed 3 months. They wouldn't even responded to phone. Contact person (Manoj) blocked our number after he got the payment. Completely unprofessional team.

Could have get better attention after sales. Shipment collection and delivery was good. In-between there was no/less communication which could have handle in a better way.
