Edward Neutz Sons and Daughters Moving

We used this firm in March for a local move. We were very pleased with the service. They went out of their way to accomodate some special circumstances where our new home was not ready for us to move in by keeping the items securely stored on their trrucks for several days -- at a very reasonable rate. All calls wwere returned promptly. Everyone was very service orientated. Criticially, we had a minor dispute over whether a certain item should have been moved. To their credit, they responded to the matter in a prfessional and dignified mannner. I highly recommend them. .

DO NOT USE EDWARD NEUTZ SONS AND DAUGHTERS MOVING AND STORAGE!! I used them and they were late, damaged my furniture, lost pieces to my furniture, charged me more than quoted, talked down to me when I called to report these problems(the owner Edward Neutz did this) and called me a liar. I am trying to keep anyone else from going through what I went through. The furniture I have is from Haverty's and is not cheap furniture which is why I hired a "mover" to move it all! I have put in a BBB complaint and am going to continue to find ways to keep this from happening to anyone else. Movers beware!!

We recently moved out of state for the first time from Ky to Mo after 42 years of marriage. From my first call talking with Ed Neutz, who gave a very detailed estimate over the phone months before the move date, to working with Matthew Neutz, his son, who came to the home to take inventory and give a firm quote, to the guys who handled the move, I had a wonderful experience and Ed Neutz Sons & Daughters Moving made the whole experience as stress free as any move can be. Our sincere "Thank you" goes to Ed, Matt, and all the great team of movers that took care of us with such care!

From the other reviews on this site, I can only conclude that complainers like to complain, but satisfied customers just get on with their lives.  Let me tell you, this is a conscientious, professional outfit.  All of the packers are women, and after unpacking over 200 boxes, we did not have so much as a broken light bulb.  But it doesn't stop there.  Their quote was a few hundred dollars over the other movers we considered, but Neutz and company brought more to the table - more movers, an extra truck.  They even had a unique way of moving our hanging clothing - using racks they wheeled into our old garage, we hung our clothes on them, they shrink-wrapped them, rolled them into the new garage (more convenient, and much less expensive than those wardrobe boxes).They started loading our fragile items several hours before our schedule closing to sell our home (and purchase our new home, less than 4 miles away).  While loading, I got a call from our realtor that the closing had to be cancelled and rescheduled.  Neutz's people unloaded the truck - and THEY REFUSED TO CHARGE US FOR LOADING AND UNLOADING, since it wasn't our fault.  The move took place two days later.  They showed up on time, unloaded quickly (into a  5-bedroom house on two levels), came back twice to pick up paper and broken down boxes.  Damage?  Nope.  A very slight surface scratch on one table, which Mr. Neutz himself came out and repaired - otherwise, not a splinter's worth.  And, to top it off, even with full value replacement coverage, the final tab came in hundreds of dollars below the original quote.You want an ethical, professional group to move your household - Ed Neutz is the man to call!

We are having our floors refinished and were looking for a company that could move some of our furniture to our lower level, garage and store the rest. We were pleasantly surprised with the service starting with the 1st phone call with Libby. Libby gave me a detail list of all charges and services. Jamie and Quincy were awesome!! They were very careful to wrap our furniture and make sure we were happy. We have moved four times and I can say this was the best experience.

Move size: 3 Bedroom Home Service cost: $962

Had a great experience with Edward Neutz Moving. The local move took three days. Jami was sensitive to our situation and maintained flexibility (our house closing was pushed back over a week).   Dion and his crew were a pleasure to work with. They were contantly communicating with us to ensure they were doing what we wanted them to do. They always went the extra mile to satisfy our needs. They were professinal. They were respectable. They were hard-working. They got the job done! I highly recommend them for your next move.

I had two workers that were fast and furious.  Hardly took breaks and it was hot.  Even though our move from a BIG house to an aparrtment aruond the corner, these guys are movers and shakers., In fact, the quote they gave me was HIGHER than it actually was but it was because they moved fast.  I appreciated that.  There was a third worker but he didn't do too much and couldn't move that fast due to his weight up and down the stairs.    I would recommend them to any one and am looking into using them again.
