Initial verbal contact for 3 movers. Inventory list updated for 2 bedroom condo, both in text and verbally when I couldn’t download the inventory list sent. Confirming text message from office for 3 movers. Two drivers Arrived on time. Argumentative regarding where to park truck. We were a corner bungalow unit. Driver wanted to park in front of unit, blocking 2 other driveways. Had to call office for other driver…wasting time. Men did not take direction well regarding order of packing. Finally 2 more men arrived. Heading out, Linda called me to give me price and abruptly stated 2 more drivers being sent to unpack. Never came. I should have hired locally. Lesson learned.

Horrible experience.

Paid for premium service. Showed up at 1030am to pack and move a house

Packed random stuff in wardrobe boxes and did not wrap it. Boxes weren’t marked.

Did not pack everything in the house, left a lot of stuff behind. Did not bring enough boxes.

Left by 6 pm .

Was supposed to have a weight taken of the truck before and then a weight taken of the truck with the household belongings in it. The driver gave me a slip of the truck weight from the weekend before ( must have had another customers household in it)

Wanted more money when they delivered to new location. Holding household items hostage on truck (which is against the law) . Threatened to charge $100 per hour x 3 men until the new money was paid.

Emailed several times and asked for reciept, still haven’t been given one.

Had to make arrangements to the rest of household items moved.

Movers left cigarette butts all over property

I'd been moving for years from one house to another during summer within the same city with other movers. As you may imagin, moving was an extremely stressful mission.

When I had to move interprovincially during the holidays, I thought this was going to be even harder than what I used to.

On the contrary، all of the crew members in Cedar Strong Transportation were caring and professional, every person I dealt with was so friendly and patient, starting from KC, Michael, Alex & layth.

Nothing was lost or damaged during the long distance from Quebec to Ontario, all of the steps were arranged and designed to provide the utmost safety and interest of their clients, & the price was reasonable and affordable.

I strongly recommend Cedar Strong Transportation & when I will relocate again, I will never think twice before calling them.

Michael was very communicative and accommodating to all of our questions throughout the process. From the initial exploratory call to after the move, Michael was responsive.

The movers were fast and experienced. Alex and his team were a pleasure to work with. They basically packed and moved everything from point A to point B. Everything was packaged carefully and they worked so hard. Our stuff was delivered at 9pm and they still had another location to pick-up after they were done with our move.

Unfortunately, we discovered our TV was damaged throughout the moving process. Could have been the lengthy drive, the poor road conditions in Montreal, or the cobblestone roads that they had to drive on to get to our place. Michael was informed and the matter was resolved.

I appreciate all the help we've received. Would recommend.

Move size: 2 Bedroom Home Service cost: $3400

This company was really great up until the day of my move. They answered my questions, gave a good quote. The movers themselves were fairly professional in their conduct.

I was informed I needed to pay extra for stairs by a phone call with Michael from accounting.I was confused as it seemed like this was an unnecessary charge as I had already been charged for stairs. I was on the phone clarifying about this extra charge(and expressed it seemed like I was getting double-charged) when the movers asked me to deal with something moving related. I told Michael to call me back in 20 minutes while I dealt with this issue because I was in the middle of moving. At no point did I ever indicate I wasn't going to pay this extra fee, especially as I'd paid the moving cost in what I'd thought was in full the day before. Michael called the movers and told them to stop unloading my things in response. Even thr movers expressed to me that was unnecessary and simply asked me about it politely while continuing to unload my things. They were the ones who informed me Michael called to be petty because he couldn't wait 20 minutes on my moving day to sort out the last $100 of nearly $1500 I paid Cedar Strong Transportation. This was highly unprofessional and it reads very petty/power move. And I sent the petty $100.

I am only interested in apology at this point, as I am yet to receive one even as I explained how unprofessional this behaviour is. I am completely disinterested in Cedar Strong defending this employee's behaviour. This review would have been five stars had it not been for this awful and disgusting interaction.

I required a local move and contacted several companies. Some were very expensive and others were “ too good to be true”. When I reviewed those companies I realized they were exactly what Market Place reported on.

Cedar Strong was recommended by a friend.

I could not have been happier. It was a last minute move and they squeezed me in on a busy day. So the arrival time could not be set until they were on their way. I was fine with this

They loaded my belongings and unloaded them quickly and carefully.

I was at both ends of the move so I saw how they worked.

They quoted me a price based on an hourly rate of $130 an hour for 2 men.

They even set up my bed.

They were extremely pleasant and never stopped working.

The end price was exactly what they quoted based on the hourly rate.

I would use them again and recommend them.

Move size: 1 Bedroom Home Service cost: $570

Solid service from KC and staff and top notch long distance movers at a really good price for value.

Two complaints: 1. I never got an official receipt (used for reimbursement at my work) 2. The hour of the move was determined less than 24 hours before my move and this altered my plans of how I would get there. I would prefer a two to three day notice of the hour of arrival and a week notice of the time of day they believe they will arrive (so that I can plan when to leave, get a hotel and coordinate how they would pick the items up if I'm not there).

Very well taken care of by K.C. She is so professional and really cares about your situation and always gets back to you with a quick response by email and usually answers the phone when you call or gets right back to you.

The movers were late on Saturday by 3 hours but Mike always kept me up to date. The drivers phone number was also given, so you were able to contact at anytime regarding

arrival. As they were about to start moving my Mothers contents on the 3rd floor of a Seniors Residence, the fire alarm went off and the elavators stopped working. It seemed the issue of restarting elavators was going to be a lengthy one so they used the stairs, Contents packed well.

My Sister received the contents in Orillia at another Seniors Residence and said the movers (Alex) were very professional and pleasent. I was pleased!
