Damaged items

Devolved responsibility for badly packed and marked fragile items , resulting in damage to heirloom grandfather clock . The clock was packed in singular layer of bubble wrap and no protection afforded to glass front resulting in totally ruined front panel . Despite obvious sub standard care for a fragile item movers are disinterested in even meeting half way on repair cost or accepting any responsibility . If you’re only moving non fragile items the service was good but let down but this oversight to protect a fragile item

A Stress Free experience

We moved from Switzerland to the UK, during the Covid pandemic with a team from Seaford.

Ben & Ray, supported by Kerry at the Centre.

From start to finish it has been stress free, well organised, and extremely professional from a caring team.

Our furniture was in storage for 8 months, yet came out still smelling clean and fresh. Our very fragile items we'd highlighted, were carefully looked after and expertly packed, as were all out items.

One sofa had some minor damage, however the claim team handled it immediately and arranged to have it fixed.

We didn't have to worry or lift a finger, all resolved.

Overall the coordination, customer focus was excellent.

Responsive, at all times and understood our needs.

What is a stressful life event, become a stress free one.

I'd highly recommend the team we dealt with, and I wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

I have recently moved from the US to the UK. Britannia Movers International helped me with the UK customs clearance and delivery to my new home in Oxford. We communicated over email, and they responded to me promptly. A week after my goods cleared from the custom, my delivery was scheduled by phone. My scheduled delivery was on time. The two movers are very efficient and kind.

I want to complement Britannia Movers International for a truly professional job in handling our shipment from the port of London to our home in Thatcham Berkshire. The arrangements from the initial conversation with BMI and subsequent delivery, off loading and unpacking was first class. Anyone relocating from overseas would be advised to ensure BMI is the company handling their shipment upon arrival at a UK Port. We were not disappointed in the whole experience.

Excellent communications throughout the process, and very reasonable storage costs in the interim for my overseas shipment. Excellent service, efficient communication, great experience overall!

Excellent and efficient communication and great service overall. I have never moved overseas before, it is a daunting experience but each person I dealt with (in person or over the phone) was super helpful and logistically everything ran exceptionally smoothly. It's not an easy time to relocate during a global pandemic and the war in Ukraine, but at all times, I felt their service never faltered and I got all my items delivered safely to my door. They made it very easy for me, I would use their services again and recommend them to others.

Excellent Service

Very professional throughout the entire shipping process and the guys who delivered my boxes were friendly and thorough. I was kept up to date on the location of my items and timeline until they would get to me here in the UK, and I have no complaints. Everything was delivered perfectly and there were no damages whatsoever. It looked like the boxes had been carefully arranged facing the right way up, since I didn't even have any clothes in the wardrobe boxes that had fallen off the hangers. I'd definitely use Britannia Movers again. They really care about their customers and their customers' possessions.

Switzerland to York, UK

An excellent service from BMI from start to finish. Initial contact via their website was straightforward and all on-line information and quotation forms worked well. Our administrator, Sammi, was friendly, quick and efficient at all stages of the process, particularly when preparing the rather scary customs documents. My questions were always answered precisely, promptly and completely. Our removal crew, Lee and Mark, at the pick-up in Switzerland were punctual and friendly, and kept nicely in touch regarding timings. Packing and loading took considerably less time than expected, even in 32 degree heat. We were lucky enough to have the same 2-man crew for the delivery in York and, again, they were fast, efficient and friendly, taking less than 6 hours to unload a full 4-bed house's-worth of stuff. No damage to either house or contents. Would heartily recommend BMI's services for international relocation.
