Long-distance move from Kansas City, KS to Oceanside, CA

You Move Me

They were on time and quickly loaded up the truck while we packed up our car. We were very friendly and affordable, and we made it to our destination without any issues. I'll use their services again over any other moving company.

Long-distance move from Woburn, MA to La Center, WA

Worst Movers Ever Encountered Plus Zero Ethics

Cross country move, full 3BR house. If I could give a negative 5 on a 5 star scale, they sure earned it. From the very start, every single thing dear Tony said was a complete lie. Period. They have no employees as stated they do, have no actual trucks (semi's) to do any long distance moves, and are NOT a carrier as stated in the site. They are only brokers using local hired help (massively unqualified as movers) and broke every single promised deadline for us. Then gouged us for double what any move should cost, tried to steal $10,000 extra using a shell game of multiple companies taking money from our card. So totally crooked that we ended up having to cancel the card so he didn't steal any more after being totally paid off via postal money orders while they held our stuff hostage. Even after being paid in full for this total screw job, then he adds on another big charge and threatens to turn us into collections if we don't pay him this last sad attempt to steal yet more from us. They also wrecked just about everything they touched. Almost every lid on all liquid containers were deliberately loosened, then packed upside down. Yes, upside down - no passive error here, just malicious behavior. When I tried to file the claims, he says we can't because we owe him money. Money he just made up AFTER he was fully paid. I saw other reviews about not paying claims, but didn't believe them. Now I do. They totally ignored my schedule for flights out, and used a little 26' truck and stored each load in some out of state warehouse where items were clearly smashed together by a forklift and ruined beyond repair. But of course, I can't file a claim on this stuff. We had to throw away probably 10 medium boxes of the liquid disasters along with having to clean up their messes, and all their idiotic delays cost me another $900 in rent. Deliberately dropped all 4 computer monitors on the corners before putting in boxes. Already had to eat that $1,700. Destroyed a custom built desk I made that's valued at $3,000. Multiple boxes missing still. I believe they didn't even pack this missing stuff, just stole it outright.

No recourse so far but I'll try the DOT or the Attorney General in New Jersey where they actually are (not Austin TX like they claim). Every single verbal or written piece of info was a flat lie. They are the worst A-holes I've ever run into.

Unless you like torture and destruction on a grand scale and being charged over $50,000 for this fun, you better look elsewhere. I'll run down their other two phony shell companies and post this review on all so they can't play bait and switch like they did to me. If I'd seen info like this I wouldn't have ever booked these crooks. There are far more detailed examples of their laziness, lack of integrity and inability to even speak our language than you'd want to know so I won't bore you with those here, but there are plenty.

This foreign crew was so lazy that literally every day they were confirmed (by dear Tony) to be on site at 8 a.m., I never once saw them until after 12 noon. And then they would bitch about having to work past 5... Unbelievable.

PS: the last stunt they did after gaffing off and missing my departure deadline for my flight out (they already blew up my first scheduled flight and I had to reschedule last minute) was to threaten to take all my stuff out of the truck and leave it on the driveway if I didn't come back from the airport and sign it right this minute. I've never experienced anything remotely this unprofessional from any company in any other business. Ever.

Long-distance move from Collinston, LA to New York, NY

All did well

Since I was swamped, I needed to book a moving company last minute to move to a two BR apartment as quickly as possible. These guys promised to get there early in the morning, and when they got there, they moved everything very fast. It was done in like 3 hours, and they handled everything with care while also hustling. Would book these guys again.

Long-distance move from Boston, MA to Chicago, IL

WARNING: DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY**

WARNING: DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY**

It has taken me a few days to gather my thoughts after the month+ ordeal that these clowns (for lack of a better C word) put me through. I moved from Boston to Chicago and looked up a few quotes prior to engaging with Tony Cross from BQ Transport. Obviously when trying to acquire my business Tony was SUPER responsive and charming, now in hindsight, completely fake. These clowns picked up my items in Boston April 20th. Original window was 12-3pm and arrived at 7pm. 2 guys showed up and did not speak a lick of English. They were on the phone the entire time, almost as a cover for not wanting to be engaged by the customer. After being obscenely late, they had the nerve to ask me if they could “take a personal call”. They stood out in my hallway for a good 20 minutes doing absolutely nothing. Dragging their feet. Finally they got to “work” and took them till midnight to finish. I spent a good 12 hours from start to finish that day. Completely awful and unacceptable. Just when I thought that was the worst part, 10 days later, the day before my original scheduled delivery date, after 2 days of blowing Tony up and asking if my delivery was confirmed in Chicago, Tony finally answers and says the move was cancelled due to all of them “having covid”. They were supposed to contact me the following Monday (2 days later) to provide me with an update on when the move would be rescheduled and nothing. I blew them up for days. Emails, text. Calls, nothing worked. It was to the point that I thought they had stolen my items. I had to hire a lawyer to represent me and contact them directly. That got us a response with the most bullsh*t email basically claiming that Tony was positive and the movers were not. But its just amazing that it took a lawyer to get involved to get a response from this “Sally Scott” person who magically was able to provide us with an answer. Long story short, between back and forth emails and begging for updates, they finally delivered May 25 (25 days later)! I was sitting inside an empty apartment for almost a month. They kept claiming they had 21 business days from original delivery date to complete my move without breaching the contract. They knew all along what they were doing. The lack of empathy and transparency given by Tony and this sham company is insane. They do not care and will completely ghost you until they decide they are ready to bring your items. My advice: do not hire them, first and foremost, do your research!! Read the negative reviews! They are cookie cutter with what happened to me and just a different excuse each time. I would have preferred to pay double and not have gone through this ordeal. They should be shut down and also please note how stupid and unprofessional Tony looks responding to previous reviews. I feel like the biggest fool for having hired them. My items arrived safely but was not worth the stress and anxiety these clowns gave me for a month of my life. If I can save anyone from this experience, I hope this review helps. Tony if you are reading this: Go to town explaining this - you make your pennies messing with people’s lives and livelihoods. Such a sad human and way of doing business.

Long-distance move from Hartford, CT to Washington, DC

Overall good

Overall everything went off without a hitch. My movers were great at pick up and delivery. The only issue or complaint would be that I was expecting my things to be put in storage down in DC not up in NJ. The delivery ended up being on time but I didn't realize they were going to store everything in NJ not in DC. I dunno if that really is a big deal in the industry but this was my first big move out of state on my own just thought my stuff was going to be put in storage near my delivery. I am happy that everything worked out in the end. I would use them again if I need to move in the future.

Long-distance move from West Haven, CT to Las Vegas, NV

Solid Company.

BQ Transport was a godsend, they came through on the last minute when my other movers (USA Movers Group) didn't show up on my scheduled moving day. They came out and did everything we needed on short notice. I'm so upset we didn't know about this company sooner. I would recommend you call and speak with Anthony, he was great to work with and really came through for us.

Long-distance move from Hewlett, NY to Miami Beach, FL

Fast & Affordable.

BQ Transport was the best company we spoke to, they gave us the best price and the were the most reputable. After getting about 5 other quotes we knew after all of our due diligence and researching that BQ Transport going to be our mover. Anthony and his team were wonderful they didn't try to up sell or push us into spending more money. They really tried to help us as much as possible and even went above and beyond the call and helped us move things to the dumpster and into our cars. I will use them again for sure!

Local move from Mount Bethel, PA to Shippensburg, PA

Moving Company.

No actual walk through to establish accurate estimate, which could have eliminated an enormous amount of stress. This led to an inaccurate total amount of of weight to be moved and the wrong size truck being sent. The operations manager initially appeared to be a decent person to work with but as time moved on that proved false. The on-site foreman spent more time on the phone than actually working. The agreed upon method for the down payment was by credit card but when the 1st day move was completed, then the payment method was unbelievably changed to CASH or some bank to bank transaction that I never heard of. Keep in mind this all happened at 7:00PM.Thinking a client could magically come up with thousands of dollars at that time in the evening is absurd. Then to be called by a company supervisor and to be berated and accused of “you should have known what the method of payment would be” is so unprofessional. To add insult to injury and finally put the last nail in this moving nightmare upon delivery at our new home this moving team was going to leave without putting any of the furniture they took apart back together and only when we mentioned it to them did they reluctantly comply. The final straw was when the foreman, after obtaining signatures on the transportation invoice, displayed another form requesting a 20% “tip”.

For those thinking of hiring a trustworthy and honest moving company I highly recommend staying away from this one.

Move size: 3 Bedroom Home Service cost: $7200

Official company response

Hello, thank you for your feedback. I would like to say we appreciate your feedback but would like to just say that you were given an estimate based on a certain amount of items and time to load and drive overnight to your new home in PA. The guys showed up and you needed a second truck which we couldn't accommodate last minute since it's the peak of the summer. We offered to fill one full truck to max capacity and come back Sunday with another truck to load and move at max capacity. You declined to use the second truck because of the extra costs. We took all the major pieces of furniture from the house and some boxes that we could fit. We issued a revised written estimate for the additional space / items taken. We required cash payment upon pickup and delivery because you requested overnight delivery services. If you used a credit card or a checking account the delivery wouldn't be overnight. The terms of payment were listed on the contract and on the initial estimate. We understand that the CASH or Zelle payment might of seemed like a big surprise but it's very common payments for immediate services. Nevertheless the company did agree to accept your credit card transaction and your card declined. We decided to drive to your new location 4 hours away and wait overnight and deliver in the morning once payment was confirmed. We waited till 10am for your bank to open so you can authorize the payment via CREDIT CARD and once that was complete we delivered the items safely. The guys typically will reassemble any items upon request of the customer. If you don't ask them to ressable they leave it as is in the house. Once again we appreciate your business and understand that moving is a very stressful process and sometimes people underestimate the amount of items they have in their home.

Long-distance move from Lakeville, MA to Sarasota, FL

Worst company ever!!!

If I could give this company zero stars, I would in a heartbeat!!! Tony is a complete scum bag that will just tell you what you want to hear to suck you in. Total bait and switch!!! They were ignorant, yelling at my sister and I, over charged us once they got there and packed everything up so that you basically have no choice. They said they would take credit card but after everything was packed they demanded cash or check. All Russian men who do not speak English chaint smoking on my property! They stole multiple items and then canceled my claim because I gave them a poor review. ( per tony this is in the contract!) I moved three months ago, and on Sept 9th these fraudulent jerks CHARGED MY CARD AGAIN!!!! I contacted my fraud department and told them the entire story and that I want this prosecuted to the fullest. This company is a total scam and ripoff!!!!!!
