Allied Relocations as a company promises a lot and delivers a subpar service. There sales techniques and delivery are awful as services
My experience
1) Provided a sales process that promised far more then you delivered
2) Allied did not provide appropriate oversight on the start of packing in Abu Dhabi as items were packed with out any planning and wrongly labeled etc with items missing AND SOME NOT EVEN PACKED
3) Destination Sydney not providing appropriate number of staff for unloading and helping us u pack when we are go through a major transition. Worst was that your UAE team starting from your sales person did not even know that only two people were provided to unload a lot of stuff. We were not told, and your support team did not even understand that was the contract between UAE and Australia
4) Items were missing and we had to throw a lot of items away like fans as they were dismantled and put in seperate boxes with no proper records
5) No duty of care and follow up to understand customer experience which most global companies want to understand how to improve their service, Allied does not want to
6) No follow up on my complaint as was promised that senior management will call me and it’s over 5 months

Dubai to England.
I chose Allied Pickfords for the name, mistake! Although the rep came out and sold the package, all the rest of the process was subbed out to another company. I had 124 boxes packed ready outside my villa for 10 hours and eventually had to have them shifted by vans to a warehouse. The following day (Friday) had to meet the guys to load into a container. Reason being the first two containers sent to my villa had severe damage (split sidings, nuts, bolts and oil on the floor). My Move Coordinator must be the only person in Dubai without a mobile, didn't care. The Manager didn't even call me back as promised. Wouldn't recommend and avoid.

No respect for our goods.
This has been a terrible experience. The packing was terrible. Cheap items over wrapped. Expensive items piled on top of each other. Antique cabinet sellotaped before putting in crate! We had so many damages it was shocking. The worst part of it was the lack of responsiveness from Allied. Not once did they apologise or look further into the matter. So I'm sure the same packers are still packing. Please avoid using them if you are shipping to or from Dubai.

Overhyped, expensive but callous service
We had utilized the services of Allied Pickfords in Malaysia earlier with satisfactory results. However, our experience with Allied Dubai/ Abu Dhabi earlier this year was quite bad. Allied Dubai is overhyped, way too expensive and their communication skills with customers is non-existent. We paid nearly Dhs 40,000 for a move to India and the insurance charges came to nearly Dhs 10,000. On the Indian side, the relationship manager was truly excellent but her efforts were overshadowed by the callous and poor response of the Dubai and Abu Dhabi representatives. They never used to bother to respond to our calls or messages. There were quite a few damaged and broken goods at this end. The insurance company cleverly used small prints and legal mumbo jumbo and escaped without paying a penny as compensation. No words of apology at all at the end of the day.

Rude, unhelpful, manipulative liars.
So recently had the misfortune of having these guys move our furniture from KSA to Pakistan. The team in Pakistan did everything to mess things up.
1. Container was delayed deliberately at port incurring storage charges.
2. Wrong custom charges were imposed for used personal items.
3. No official bills, invoices,, receipts and proof of payment were presented.
4. Ground mover staff was just a bunch of daily wages hired random people who just shove and dragged stuff all over the house.
5. Boxes were handled without regard for fragile mark, and placed without regard of the orientation mark.
6. Punctuality of time was a missing trait. The movers arrived at 12pm for two days.
7. Ground team pressurised us since the beginning. It was clear they wanted to do things their way.
8. Deceitful and malicious behaviour. Movers coerced me into signing the delivery papers.
9. Several items missing, broken and damaged. Few boxes missing.
In short, if you want to have nightmares for life, then these are the guys.

Worst Ever Company to deal with.
This is the worst ever company to deal with. Take advance and bind the customer. Their partners in remote destinations are even worst. Both lack communication and sync. Overpriced. Missing boxes, broken stuff. Mishandling of items. Terrible terrible experience. Insurance is included and now stuck in filing for it. Way too much overhead involved in this company.

Kept some of my valubles.
So, yes, they do a good job moving people. But, instead of giving my perfume, make up, hair & skin products to my husband so that we can hand carry them home (like they did with all the cleaning supplies).
I am missing a few thousand dollars in perfumes, make up, and other products. No one will pick up the phone or answer my emails (after the fact). It might be best to file a police report and find whom ever kept my things and have them arrested.

Delay in delivery, zero communication.
Our shipment left our house in Dubai on 10 August and arrived in the uk on 13 September. The Dubai office has given me the worst customer service experience I’ve ever had in 14 years in Dubai: our Move Manager is not fit for purpose. It took her three weeks after the shipment left Dubai to confirm the shipment had gone, or to give us the tracking details. Three weeks after departure to send us the insurance certificate which was then incorrect. She only emailed me to ask for final payment but did not provide bank details despite being asked three times. I complained via email to the Dubai office general manager and asked for a different move manager. The GM did not bother to contact me but the same move manager rang me and whilst GIGGLING told me the delay in communication was because she’d accidentally closed our file! I have had to pester the Dubai office for information every step of the way, and only get a response when I copy in the original move consultant (who was actually very good).
The final straw is that upon our shipment reaching Southampton on 13 September, the Dubai office did not send the necessary paperwork to the uk office so our shipment did not clear customs until 20th September. The uk office requested the paperwork from Dubai twice I believe but didn’t receive a reply, so it was left to me, again, to pester the Dubai office to do their job. Due to this delay, we will not have our things delivered to us until 3rd October, Despite requesting a delivery date of 28 September we’ll in advance. Now the Dubai office AND the uk office are ignoring our calls and emails. We repatriate to the UK tomorrow: Where/how do we live from 27 September to 3 October with none of our possessions?
We are being penalised due the appalling organisation/care of the Dubai office, and no one at Pickfords seems willing to assist. This is not a regular delay that was out of pickfords control, this is being caused by the Dubai office’s ineptitude and negligence.

Either incompetent or untrustworthy - you decide.
Don’t trust them and check you inventory carefully. They gave a quote based on volume and supplied an inventory. The inventory lacked detailed and missed several large items e.g a bed. In our case 20pc of large items were missed.we did not check the inventory carefully (our stupidity and trusted appraiser). They used this error to justify charging more. Contractually in the right but what’s the point in asking for a home visit for an appraisal. Never again and I recommend using another company. One of the worst customer experiences I have ever experienced.

1) They will do a survey at your home.
2) Then underestimate the volume of your goods so that their quotation will look reasonable.
3) They will lie to you about the cost.
3) Their trained packers will exaggerate with packing and fill the boxes with paper. This way they will increase the volume.
4) They will remain silent on this and just request for a full payment of the agreed amount.
5) When the container is shipped and en route to the destination, you will get an email about the extra volume.
6) You will be told to either pay the money or you will not get your goods and will be charged additionally for the storage.
Go with some one else. If you insist to go with this bunch of thieves, make sure you write on the contract about the agreed lump sum price. Otherwise be ready for the extra payment.
