Aleks Moving

We were part of a recent move in Milton, paid for and arranged by our landlord so he could paint and stage our former residence.. They showed up late, rushed through the house ignoring fragile labels, banging doorframes with our furniture and working without floor or furniture protectors. They put our stuff in storage for 2 weeks, then moved it into our new apartment. They cross-piled things into our storage locker with no regard to damage or how things were placed. The top of a dresser was scuffed and scratched, our headboard was gouged and an antique couch had its leg torn off. When asked about insurance he seemed shocked and offered $50, then $100, for damages that are closer to $1000. To be clear, they covered nothing for protection, including mattresses, disassembled/reassembled nothing, and generally seemed more interested in speed over care. This was the most amateur group of movers we've ever experienced and I would avoid them at all cost.

In 2021, during one of my family’s most recent moves, Mario and Crew Members worked with great efficiency, diligence and precision. They showed a high standard of competence, excellent punctuality and time-management skills to deliver a seamless and effortless experience. They moved and assembled our brand new furniture in all respective rooms of our home (i.e sectional sleeper couch, heavy glass-top chrome metal frame tables, dressers, beds, office desks, etc). They also quickly troubleshooted to unhinge and remove the basement door to carry all our older furniture down the narrow landing and stairwell. Our customer experience was stress-free and damage-free!

Great moving experience with Aleks moving. Franco, Blendi and everyone in the team have always been easy to talk to, very nice and respectful. It has been a very smooth moving experience. Despite doing a physically challenging job, they maintained such a nice and positive attitude that made our moving experience really amazing. They had a solid strategy from the beginning - picking up loose stuff to make sure no items are left behind, dressers and any furnitures with drawers were wrapped nicely so they're secure during the move, TV's and monitors are handled delicately. Their strategy was executed perfectly. All of our stuff have been taken care of with utmost care, from small to big items. They also asked us where we want to place the items after arriving here in our house which makes it easier for us to unpack and organize things later on. I highly recommend this team. We had to have our furniture stored and Aleks himself very organized fitted everything so well in a 10 x 20 Storage unit.

They are a family business and all the family members worked well together.

I had the pleasure of using your moving company yesterday. I had called a few others first and was lied to and quoted unrealistic quotes. I spend my entire life in the RCMP and moved every 4 years. I know movers! Well I am 73 years old with extreme medical issues. Aleks came to my place and was upfront and truly honest with compassion that stood out! What he said and quoted were fair and I say half the amounts of all other movers had quoted. He stated a time yesterday and was right on time with a surprise of 4 movers and himself. All these movers were experienced, professional, polite, they were so organized the move out and into my new place including short travel took only 1.5 hours to do. No hidden charges, just honest in every respect.

If you only knew my medical conditions and how this mover treated me I am sure you would use them for sure. They are real people with the best of services to make your move positive and honest.
